Users of the GK One app will get the chance to win individual cash prizes when they complete a Qualifying Action.
Users of the GK One app will earn points so their favourite school participating in the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships can win cash when they complete a Qualifying Action.

Mechanics for Cash Prizes for Individual Users of GK One Card & App
Ten (10) GK One app users who receive a money transfer in their GK One Wallet during the ‘Qualifying Transaction Period’ will be randomly selected to win $10,000 each.
Nine GK One app users who download the app and register for the GK One prepaid card from March 28-31, 2023 will be randomly selected to win $10,000 each.
Mechanics for Cash Prizes for Schools
Customers will be invited to download the GK One App and register for the GK One Prepaid Visa Card during the Qualifying Transaction Period
After registration for the Prepaid Visa Card is completed successfully, a customer will be given the option to enter the promo code or referral code associated with their favourite school participating in the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships in the app to earn points for that school.
Each customer will earn 10 points for their school when they successfully register for the GK One Prepaid Visa Card
Customers will be encouraged to receive Western Union money transfers in their GK One Wallet during the Qualifying Transaction Period to earn points for their favourite school participating in the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships.
Each customer will earn 20 points for their school for every remittance that they receive in the GK One app.
Selection of Winning Schools
The top three (3) schools, i.e., the ones that earn the most points will be selected as the winners based on points earned during the promotional period. Each school must achieve a minimum of 2500 points to qualify for the prize. Winning schools will be selected on April 17, 2023.
Prize Descriptions
There will be a total of twenty-two (22) cash prizes. Nineteen (19) valued at $10,000 each for individual GK One App users and three (3) valued at $500,000, $300,000, $200,000 each for the schools that earn the most points (one first place, one second place and one third place).

- Ten cash prize winners will be selected at random from the daily report of Western Union inbound remittances database in the GK One app. The process entails logging into the GK One Management Portal using company-issued credentials, entering the “Qualifying Transaction Period’ (please refer to the table above), then entering the number of winners for the period e.g., 2 for February 24-26, 2023. Cash prizes will be transferred to the winners’ GK One Prepaid Visa Cards.
- Nine cash prize winners will be selected at random from the daily report of Visa Prepaid Card Registrations in the GK One app. The process entails logging into the GK One Management Portal using company-issued credentials, entering the “Qualifying Transaction Period’ (please refer to the table above), then entering the number of winners for the period e.g., 3 for March 28-31, 2023. Cash prizes will be transferred to the winners’ GK One Prepaid Visa Cards.
- Representatives of the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) can oversee the selection process on all draw dates in person or via our online conference platform, Microsoft Teams. A link to this platform will be furnished by GKMS representatives, Ayanna Kirton Hynes (Marketing Manager, Remittances) or Bianca Ferguson Duncan (Marketing Officer, Remittances) on request and the screen share feature will be employed for the BGLC representative to oversee the process if online oversight is selected.
- Prize winners will be selected at random using the drawing tools at GraceKennedy Financial Group, 42-56 Harbour Street, Kingston.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend upon the number of Qualifying Transactions during the Promotional Period. Any expenses not specifically identified as part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner. Winners will be announced after the scheduled drawing. All drawings shall be conducted by the Sponsors. All decisions are final.
General Rules
1) The opportunity to enter to win the cash prizes for individuals is open only to persons residing in Jamaica who are 18 years of age or older.
2) Employees of Sponsor, GraceKennedy Money Services, Western Union and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (mother, father, and children) are not eligible.
3) Winner will be required to sign a talent release form upon acceptance of a prize which constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
4) Winners will forfeit the prize in the event they refuse to sign the talent release form to grant permission to GraceKennedy Money Services and its agencies to use their names and likenesses for advertising purposes.
5) Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Promotion or Redemption of any Prize.
6) Winners’ cash prizes will be loaded to their GK One wallet in the GK One app.
7) By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Any claim or dispute arising under these rules is subject to the ruling of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission.
8) Prizes are not transferable.
9) Authorized under Section 58(3) of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act.
