As of 11:00 AM today, over 50 GKMS locations in areas unaffected by severe weather conditions are operational, offering Western Union money transfer and Bill Express services. Additionally, 10 locations are open for FX Trader Cambio transactions. To see which location is open in their area, customers are being encouraged to check gkmsonline on Instagram and Facebook.
For those unable to venture out due to inclement weather, GKMS offers convenient digital solutions:
- GK One App: Customers can easily pull down their Western Union transfers with just their MTCN, after they have downloaded the app from their app store and registered using their Jamaica Government Issued Photo ID and TRN. They are also able to pay bills in the app through Bill Express for free, by using the funds in their digital wallet.
- BillExpress Online: This online platform allows customers to pay bills conveniently using their debit or credit cards, free of charge.
